French luxury brand Pierre Frey was founded in 1935 and designs, creates and manufactures fabrics and wallpapers in the purest French traditions. It sells over 7,000 products under four brand names: Pierre Frey, Braquenié, Fadini Borghi and Boussac.
Although Pierre Frey historically dealt in furnishing fabrics, it has moved with the times to become a leading light in interior decorating and furnishings.
The main client base for Pierre Frey products is interior designers, however they are also purchased by private individuals.
The Pierre Frey website must combine the best of these two worlds to fully express the values of a creative House and offer a tool for organising a collection of more than 7,000 fabric references.
Our basis for the design of this site is to present the key areas of the brand alongside sections with intelligent sorting systems so buyers can classify fabrics according to colour, pattern, characteristics, uses, etc., in just one click. To make browsing easier, the product sheets even provide suggestions for fabric combinations based on pre-defined pairings of patterns and colours.
The site is not limited to fabrics, but also allows you to browse the entire range of Pierre Frey wallpapers, furniture and accessories.
Only the accessories collection has an e-commerce function, enabling private buyers to order directly online. The website is localised in four languages: English, French, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
A Pierre Frey iPad app has been created to complement the website. All the House’s products are shown on an interface directly synchronised with the Pierre Frey website’s databases.
The app was designed for Pierre Frey representatives and with all the House’s products available offline, they have the whole world of Pierre Frey at their fingertips when visiting customers.
The app is also available to the general public on the App Store, allowing users to order free samples of fabrics. An exclusive Pierre Frey iPad App service.
